The nautical center FOUMBOUIR of the Westpoint hotel is located just a few meters from the wave spot in the Atlantic Ocean.
The spot is ideal for freestyle kitesurfing, strapless and surfing.
A team of professional surfers, a former world kitesurfing champion and a team of kite and surf instructors will help you discover these exciting water sports.
At the Foum Bouir nautical center, all instructors are IKO or VDWS certified and all material is from the latest season. The kitesurfing beginner level courses are given in Dakhla lagoon by the nautical center at Dakhla Attitude. A hotel bus will pick you up and drop you off for free.

You can rent strapless or freestyle material either from the nautical centre at Dakhla Attitude or in the Westpoint Hotel.
In order to be able to rent equipment, you must have attained a minimum of an intermediate level rider, or IKO level 3. You must be able to ride upwind.

All surf courses include a technical, theoretical and physical part in order to progress quickly.
The nautical centre has different types of boards for surf courses and rental: short-board, single end, long-board, finless, retro board, ayala, SUP and body-board.
The courses are adapted to participant’s levels, from beginner to expert.
For intermediate and advanced courses, you will first take a level test in order to be able to focus the course as much as possible on your needs and move as quickly as possible to the next level. You will also have the opportunity to discover the different surf spots in Dakhla!

The storage warehouse in under surveillance; however, the center is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft.
-Prices are per person.
-All lessons include the equipment only during the hours lessons.
-Kitesurfing equipment rental include (kite, bar, board, leash, wetsuit, harness, helmet and life vest).
-To confirm prebooked rates it’s mandatory the payment of 100% in advance.
-Accepted payment methods: cash (€ or DHS) and credit cards (NO AMEX).
-Insurance is not included in the standard rental rate.
-All lessons are given by certified instructors: IKO/VDSW.
-1 lessons = 2 hours.
-Promotions are not cumulative.
-Unused sports services will not be reimbursed. If you cannot make use of any prepaid sports services during your trip, due to lack of wind or no wind, you will be offered alternative activities such as surf lessons or rental, SUP etc… If you don’t want use any of them we provide you with a voucher for the remaining lessons valid for 3 next years.
